In the twelve years I have served as both an educator and STEM administrator in the Hawthorne School District, I have helped and grown alongside Hawthorne High School. My primary belief lies in the fact that our education must keep evolving with our world, and the key to doing so is ensuring inclusivity and diversity throughout every aspect of the high school. As the Assistant Principal of Hawthorne High School, my goals are not only to improve the school statistically, with stronger standardized scores and more challenging curriculum, but also to change the school’s instruction, allowing students of all backgrounds to graduate as globally competitive young adults, especially in the field of STEM.
