Education is ever-changing in its concepts and methodology, completely different today from how we envisioned it only several years ago. However, I believe that the one principle that never changes is the fact that education should be student-centered and focused on the importance of a classroom experience, a business of developing passions and skills. With long-time ties to Hawthorne, and Hawthorne High School specifically, the sound foundation of my educational philosophy has been greatly influenced by this district. As the Interim Principal of Hawthorne High, I look forward with great excitement to giving back to the Hawthorne community and helping the high school move into a new, prosperous age.
